Every workout you finish is saved to your history — including standalone cardio sessions logged with the 'Log Cardio' button. Here's how to navigate it and what you can do with it.

Open the History tab

Tap 'History' in the bottom navigation. Your sessions are listed from most recent to oldest, showing the date, duration, and a summary of what was logged — exercises for strength workouts, or the activity type for cardio sessions.

Tap a session to open the detail view

Tap any card to open the full detail screen. For strength workouts you'll see every exercise, every set, the weight and reps for each set, and any PRs you hit. For cardio sessions you'll see the activity type, duration, and distance if you recorded it.

Delete a session if needed

In the detail view, tap the delete button to remove the session from your history. You'll be asked to confirm before it's permanently deleted.

Deleting workouts affects your progress reports

If you delete a workout that contained a PR, that PR may be updated to reflect the next-best set in your history.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit to how much history PRactical stores?

No. Your full session history is stored in your account — every workout and cardio entry from your first session onward.

Can I edit a past workout after finishing it?

Past workouts are read-only. You can delete an entire session from the detail view, but you cannot edit individual sets or values in historical records.

Do standalone cardio sessions count toward my weekly stats on the Home screen?

Yes. Cardio sessions logged via the 'Log Cardio' button are saved as sessions in your history and contribute to your total session count and last-session date.
